Welcome to pchelprequest.com! If you’re here, chances are you have a question that needs answering. Even though this site is addressed to the non-technical, the experts might learn something too! I am considered an expert by many, but I consider myself a work in progress. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering and have worked for some industry leading companies in technology, but I want to learn and do more. Teaching is the best way to learn, so help me by allowing me to help you!

The #1 purpose of this site is to promote and assist the non-technical with the ever increasing technology dependence. It’s a common complaint that stuff for our homes just gets more and more complicated each year. I would like to answer the questions you have about these new and complicated toys.

Here’s how I’ll help:
Run a quick search to see if your question has previously been featured on the Answers page. If it hasn’t, or the answer doesn’t work well enough for you, email me your question. I’ll answer your question as fully as I can in the first go and I might (probably will) post it on the main site with the other Questions. If I don’t know the answer, it might take a little longer to dig up the information, but you’ll get an answer.

Every week or so I’ll also have an article posted on the site. This article will provide information that doesn’t necessarily answer a submitted question from that week. Consider it the editorial feature spurred by nothing but my imagination!

I will also try and stay on top of some important technology developments. For example, when Microsoft releases a new version of Windows, you’ll be curious about upgrading your current computer. I’ll comment on the pros and cons and I’ll try to highlight some of the important points in relevant details.

I would also like to take a second to describe what this site is not. I can not stop to help everyone with specific ‘how do I fix this?’ questions. My intentions are to educate rather than solve specific problems. A major problem these days tends to be spyware. If you’re affected by spyware and ask how to fix it, I will answer in regards to the overall process including necessary software and some background. I’m not here to actually fix your specific issue though. However, if I have some free time, I might be able to help you diagnose and solve some specific issues.
